Policy Day Concentrates on Local Issues

Man conducting survey

The Liberal Democrat Policy Day in Epsom High Street gave hundreds of residents the chance to list their priorities - and there were lots of grumbles as well!

Colin Taylor, borough councillor for Stamford ward and county councillor for the borough's South-West division, spoke to people about their parking problems.

Cllr Alison Kelly and Lesley Neville (from the Town ward FOCUS team) talked about what the Lib Dems were doing in the High Street.

Tony Axelrod (also from the the Town ward FOCUS team) spoke to residents about noise and parking problems in the town centre.

Cllr Jonathan Lees and Marian Morrison, who both live in West Ewell, were particularly pleased at the survey's results on the subject of helping local shops and businesses.
