Anna Jones - College ward
Anna Jones was first elected to the council in 2007 and re-elected in 2011.
Anna has lived in Beech Road in College Ward for ten years. After leaving Westminster University in 1990 with a business degree, she joined Woolworths before moving on to be an Area Manager for Millets (with the Epsom store in her patch). She liked Epsom so much that she moved here with her husband.
Anna now runs her own Human Resources and Training company in partnership with a friend and works with local firms. She has one daughter who attends school at St Martin's.
On Epsom & Ewell Borough Council (EEBC), Anna currently has the following roles:
- Member of EEBC's Planning Committee;
- Member of EEBC's Scrutiny Committee;
- Member of EEBC's Human Resources panel.
Anna's hobbies include camping, pilates and entertaining. Anna believes that there's no point in moaning and hoping someone else will sort things out - you have to do something yourself!
