Five Lib Dem councillors took part in Sport Relief 2010

Lib Dem councillors (and daughters) who did the Sport Relief mile on Sunday 21st March will raise around £1000, thanks to sponsors.

The event was held in Nonsuch Park and marshaled by borough council officers with the Mayor heralding the start of numerous events during the day.

Borough Council Chief Executive Frances Rutter called in and a good time was had by all.

Cllrs Jones and Morris completed the mile three-legged and in high-heels. Cllrs Pavey and Key were also three-legged, as were Cllr Kelly and daughter Nicole.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored the team. As far as we are aware, the Lib Dems were the only local councillors taking part.
