A big "Thank You" to all who supported our candidates.
All eight of our candidates in the recent Parliamentary and County elections want to say a big THANK YOU to all those who turned out to vote on May 5th.
In the General Election our Parliamentary Candidate Cllr. Jonathan Lees improved on our previous result by taking second place to Chris Grayling the sitting MP, pushing the Labour candidate down into third place.
Jonathan Lees said "This is a good base from which to launch a strong attack next time".
In the elections for Surrey County Council, Colin Taylor our candidate in Epsom & Ewell South West retained his seat with an increased majority over the Conservative candidate, with the Labour candidate in third place.
Cllr. Colin Taylor said "I shall continue to do my best to serve the interests of all residents of this area, no matter who they voted for.
The Conservatives took over in Ashtead, with the RA candidates holding onto the other 5 seats. Our candidates did better than Labour in 4 out of 7 seats and Tim Murphy the Lib Dem candidate in Epsom & Ewell South East came only 161 votes behind the winner.
